Abstract:
Research into the dynamics of attention variability functioning parameterized over time paradigm is extremely rare in the scientific literature. Therefore, it is considered important to investigate the effects of the passage of time on two indicators of the dynamics of attention functioning, which, within the scope of this scientific research, are determined by the parameters of the variability of the time required to respond, and the length of time required to respond to the stimulus. It is evident that results reflect a linear trend that is only partly in line with common expectations, and it turned out to be statistically significant. The average efficiency and stability of attention can be read already in the evaluation of the results of the first quartile of testing. The analyses additionally showed that the average length of time required for the response is significantly different among subjects of the experimental group, and a critical zone and a danger zone for the risk of increased attention variability can be determined. The purpose of this article is to discuss the parametric analysis of the dynamics of the functioning of attention variability with special attention to their relevance in accordance with the objectification of continuous performance tests.
